Hats Off To The Hat Builder Stampin’Up!®

Hello and Welcome! My name is JaNette Howard and I’m an Independent Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrator in Burleson, Texas. This weeks blog posts will focus on Father’s Day cards. For today’s card, Hats Off To The Hat Builder, I chose the Hats Off Bundle, Hat Builder & Give It A Whirl Dies, and Better Places (HOST) & A Cut Above stamp sets. These sets can also be used for many occasions other than Father’s Day.

Hats Off To The Hat Builder

Start with Basic Black cardstock, cut at 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ and score at 4 1/4″. Use your choice from the Well Suited Designer Series Paper (DSP) for the card front and your choice of cardstock for the Give It A Whirl Dies wheel. I chose Basic White cardstock for the wheel with sentiments.

For the hats, I chose Pacific Point, Night OF Navy, Basic Black and Basic White cardstocks using the Hat Builder Dies. For Dad’s hat emblem, I used Daffodil Delight cardstock and stamped “DAD” in Memento Black ink and die cut.

I used mini Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere everything to the card front and a round brad, from Round & Square Brads, under the white hat for the wheel axle. Finally, use Basic White cardstock, cut at 5 1/4″ x 4 1/4″, for the card inside. Then stamp the sentiment and add a small die cut hat to top it off.

I choose the different stamp sets for the sentiments I wanted to use but you can choose and use what you like. A Cut Above stamp set  is retiring June 30, 2021 or while supplies last in the May – June mini catalog. I love these sets and dies as there are so many possibilities. Now go and create more so we can Share What We Love.
